English online worship service:
Daily Bible Reading
The readings this week will take you back to where Pastor Joanna felt compelled to seek more about glory.  Use the challenge questions from the sermon to assist you in reading this week.

1) How can this passage "take me back" to Jesus, truth, and love?
2) How can this passage help me to "turn into the spin", hit solid ground, and find my way forward? What is my next step?

Monday -  2 Corinthians 1
Tuesday -  2 Corinthians 2
Wednesday - 2 Corinthians 3
Thursday - 2 Corinthians 4
Friday -  2 Corinthians 5
Saturday - Remind and Remember Day - What scripture will Jesus remind you of today? What will the Spirit help you to remember that you have seen, heard, and experienced?

Philippians 2:5-11
Wafilipi 2:5-11

Many times in our lives, the answers to either or questions are not simple. Many times the answer is 'yes.' It is both. Pastor Bruce challenges us to work through the tension of the paradoxy.

By His Wounds We Are Healed

Na kwa kupigwa kwake sisi tumepona

John 10:1-10
Yohana 10:1-10

None of us like to suffer. We don't like wounds. And so we work hard to hide them, to recover, to "get back to normal" as quickly as possible. But wounds are honorable things. As we think of our own scars, we'll also think about the wounds of Christ. For by them, we are healed.

Luke 24:13-35
In the Gospel lesson for today, we find two disciples who move from confusion, fear, and uncertainty to being faithful followers who are able to engage in meaningful conversation about life, death, and resurrection of Christ. This is what discipleship looks like.

John 20:19-31
A common theme of the past few weeks has been "death." there have been a couple of funerals connected with the Central family. And, of course, we reflected upon the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. But a greater theme during this Easter season (and a greater promise during all seasons) is resurrection. May we walk in faith and fear neither death nor the life that Jesus calls us to live.

Mark 8:14-21
Who are you? And what stories make up the traditions and tales within your family? We all have things that shape us and make us who we are. But what if some of those histories, some of those beliefs, are wrong? What if they are slightly off, or maybe uninformed? Today we'll talk about the greatest story of all, and how believing it changes everything in our story.
